In the 2013 church year the Grow team operated as a planning team for the events of the church that were to promote spiritual growth. In Dec. 2012 we planned a Spotlight Play to retell the story of Christmas during the Sunday School Hour. We held a small group kickoff in January with a dinner and musical entertainment that highlighted the studies of each of our church's small groups. We planned a Jump Start revival with guest minister Burt Robinson and the musical group Wind. We held a Prayer Workshop conducted by Pastor Carol Bookwalter. We held a hymn sing titled make a Joyful Noise singing the favorite hymns of the congregation, spotlighting the musical talent of the congregation and sharing the message of the chosen hymns. In conjunction with our Bible School chairperson we planned Bible School entitled Backyard Bible Camp, as well as assisted our youth in planning the annual Easter Egg hunt. We met with the Care team to extend its functions to include the church community as well as Amerisist. In conjunction with the Administrative council we held a series of planning events to evaluate the past year and plan events for the 2014 year. In September we held a promotion Sunday entitled, Bullfrogs and Butterflies to celebrate the spiritual Journey of our children and Youth.
